Why is our GRP Gate more advantageous than metal and wooden alternatives?

The Fibex GRP Gate is safe to use in high-risk electrical environments thanks to the non-conductive properties of GRP. On the other hand, metal is unsuitable in these cases. 

Likewise, although wood is typically a low conductor of electricity, it is still a conductor, especially where the source is high voltage. Once wet, wooden gates are transformed into first-rate conductors even when the electrical source is of low voltage. 

Metal gates are renowned for problems with rusting and corrosion, especially in climates used to heavy rainfall like the UK. However, rainfall is not the only contributor to this problem. Environments where acids, salts and chemicals are present also induce corrosion. Numerous issues occur because of this corrosion, including the main problem of continual maintenance.
