A global renewable energy company approached Fibex requiring safe access to onsite service and welfare buildings.

The client had a unique set of project requirements which had to conform to updated Health and Safety regulations.

These requirements included:

• Platforms conforming with BS4592
• Withstand harsh environments
• Ease of installation
• Cost-effective

The Fibex team designed and custom-built a range of GRP platforms that complied with BS4592 for each access. Fabricated from our range of Pultruded Profiles and Anti-Slip Grating; the GRP Access Platforms had excellent structural strength. Likewise, the corrosion-resistant properties of GRP ensured the GRP Platforms had long life spans even when subject to harsh environments.

The platforms were delivered to the site pre-assembled and within the client’s deadline which made the platforms easier to secure and saved the customers time.

Delighted with the result, the client commended our communication and ability to efficiently react to brief changes.
