Leisure Centre - GRP Splash Deck
Fibex recently completed an installation of a raised platform swimming pool for a leisure centre in the UK. This project entailed the design, fabrication, and installation of the pool, using custom profile's tailored to the specific dimensions of the pool.
Features & Feedback
The pool provides an exhilarating aquatic experience for local children who visit the centre and since its launch has garnered positive feedback from both parents and kids. Among its new features are spraying arches, multi-jet streams, and cascading water elements.
Installation Process
Thanks to the lightweight nature of GRP, the installation was performed manually, eliminating the need for heavy machinery. Furthermore, the lightweight properties of GRP allow for a quick & easy installation. This efficiency translates to significant savings in both time and labor costs. Although lightweight, Fibex's GRP offers a high strength-to-weight ratio, making it the perfect solution for a pool.
